This year’s Summer Sale is packed full of savings, with some wines discounted by over 30% off the usual bottle price. You’ll find a number of interesting and attractive wines within, including the luscious, brooding 2006 Ch. St Georges, Côte Pavie, St Emilion Grand Cru, the wonderfully refined 2004 Champagne J.L. Vergnon and a superb example of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, 2008 Ostler, from the Sagittarius vineyard. So whether you’re planning to barbecue and dine al fresco with friends and family, picnic at one of the many cultural or sporting events that grace the summer season, or simply looking to plan ahead and replenish the stocks in anticipation of the sun finally breaking through, here’s to a long, relaxing summer.
