Spanish Gold - A selection of the best of Spanish Wine

Spain is as big as France and as vinously diverse and richly complex; we are very proud to present our selection of some of its very best wines.

Our selection quite naturally reflects our long-standing relationships with the finest bodegas in the wine region of Rioja and, personally, my on-going love affair with traditional styles of Rioja.

Beyond Rioja, of course, we have Ribera del Duero and Priorat, where we have a head start as the UK importers for the two greatest names, respectively Vega Sicilia and Alvaro Palacios.

Further afield, our selection reflects wines which we feel are the star performers of hitherto lesser-known wine appellations such as Jumilla, Valencia, Ribeiro, Bierzo, Valdeorras, Cigales, Costers del Segre and Toro, amongst others. Value, approachability and points of difference are the watchwords here.

Over the last few months I have worked the vintage in Rioja and I have toured the country with Berrys' Fine Wine colleagues. The joint fruits of our labours are presented here in our first serious Spanish Offer, one of which we are seriously proud and one which captures, hopefully, our burgeoning fascination in and affection for this magnificent country.
