2010 Loire

After the hot sunny 2009, 2010 is a return to normality. A cool start to the season resulted in a natural thinning of the crop due to millerandage. A milder summer brought the bunches on gradually, peaking perfectly at the later-than-average harvest. Stunningly focused yet ripe wines; a cross between 2002 and 2008 perhaps.
