Christmas delivery


UK delivery

We’re still taking orders and will do our best to deliver them in time for Christmas, but our guaranteed cut-off date has now passed.

Our standard delivery is within five working days, if ordered by 2pm.

Our last date for guaranteed delivery by Christmas for Scottish Highlands and Islands as orders is 6pm on Wednesday 15th December. For guaranteed delivery by Christmas to the Channel Islands, please place your order by Monday 6th December 2021.

Please note that we will notify you when your order is dispatched, at which point you will be able to track your delivery with its courier. This is the quickest and easiest way to follow your delivery’s progress as our Customer Services team are extremely busy at this time of year.

International Delivery

EU Delivery
Unfortunately, due to the complications surrounding shipping to the EU, we are still unable to deliver to certain countries.

For those countries we are still able to ship to there are still complications and therefore we would ask that all orders for Christmas are placed as soon as possible and no later than Monday 29th November 2021.

We are able to deliver to the following EU countries for customers willing to absorb local taxes and customs charges:
Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands.

However, we are not able to deliver gifts (corporate or personal) to these countries due to the unreliability of customs clearances and the potential for recipients to be charged unforeseen local taxes.

EU countries we are not able to deliver to are Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Monaco, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.

Republic of Ireland Delivery
Unfortunately, we are still unable to deliver to the Republic of Ireland.

Rest of the World delivery
To ensure you receive your order by Christmas, it must be placed by Monday 6th December 2021.

Corporate orders

Multi-delivery corporate orders must be placed by midday on Wednesday 15th December 2021 in order to guarantee delivery by Christmas.

Please note that all orders are subject to a minimum order value of £30 per delivery address, excluding delivery costs.


We are happy to accept payment by Mastercard, American Express, Visa, Delta or Maestro.

How do I track my order?

Our orders are delivered by either our own Berry Bros. & Rudd or our partner courier, DHL. You can track your order using your tracking code, which you’ll find in your dispatch confirmation email. If your order is being delivered by DHL, you can track it here. If you provided your mobile number when you placed your order, you will be kept up to date via text message.


Our Standard UK Delivery service is free on all orders valued £200 or more per delivery address. For orders under £200, our Standard Delivery fee of £10 will be applied per delivery address. Premium delivery services are also available at an increased fee. Please note that premium delivery services are not available in the following areas, nor is the ability to specify a delivery date: the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight and the Scilly Isles.

Please provide a daytime telephone number and indicate any “if out” instructions or special requests in the Delivery Instructions box for the recipients of your gifts.

We cannot deliver to addresses without postcodes. Postcodes must be included with every delivery address. Inaccurate postcodes may delay delivery. We cannot deliver to PO Box addresses or BFPO addresses. Please note that we reserve the right to charge for re-delivery of orders that have not been completed due to incorrect address information supplied by the customer. If you wish to collect parcels from our London or Basingstoke shops please indicate on the order form. Last orders for shop collections before Christmas must be placed by midday on Tuesday 21st December 2021. Orders can be collected until midday on Friday 24th December 2021.

Christmas delivery dates

To guarantee delivery in the UK by Christmas, orders must be received before midday on Monday 20th December 2021. While not guaranteed, orders will still be accepted after this date and every effort will be made to deliver prior to Christmas. During this busy period, we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates or times and are not able to advise recipients of impending deliveries. It is important to complete the Delivery Instructions box (eg. If not in please leave with neighbour at Number 43) and to provide a contact number.

Gift packaging

Our gift packaging range includes our superior quality cardboard boxes, wicker baskets and branded six-bottle wooden cases. The gifts are presented as indicated in their descriptions.

Substitutions and pricing

All items shown on are offered subject to stocks remaining unsold. Unless otherwise stated, single-bottle prices are for a 75cl bottle of wine and a 70cl bottle of spirits. To avoid delay in the processing of your order, Berry Bros. & Rudd reserves the right to substitute wines of a similar value should an “out of stock” situation arise. All prices are inclusive of VAT and packaging.

Quality Guarantee and Policy

We are committed to providing our customers with an unsurpassed level of service and are equally committed to ensuring we provide a safe and legal product. If a wine is corked or faulty, we will, in the first instance, offer a replacement bottle; or if we are unable to replace the bottle from our stocks, we will offer a credit to the replacement value of the wine. We will ask for the return of the bottle in question. Many wines are sold to drink young so we offer a simple drinking guide to help clarify the optimum drinking time of all our wines. If a wine has been kept too long or stored inappropriately, we may not be able to offer a refund.
