Any wines transferred to our warehouse must be In Bond and cases must be complete and in their original packaging. We can only accept wines from bonded warehouses in the UK that are registered with HM Revenue and Customs.
To transfer In Bond wines to us, we’ll need the wine name, vintage, case size and price paid. We’ll also need a copy of the invoice or a spreadsheet from the bonded warehouse that your wine is currently stored in. To arrange a transfer, please contact us.
We’ll send you a document to give to the merchant or bonded warehouse you’re transferring your wine from, so they can contact us to arrange the transfer.
Once we’ve received your wine we’ll inspect the stock carefully before accepting it into our warehouse. We charge an admin fee of £7.50 for a case of any size.
Transferring to another bonded warehouse
We can arrange to transfer your In Bond wine from the Berry Bros. & Rudd warehouse to another bonded warehouse. This won’t incur any duty or VAT charges. We charge an administration fee of £15 for the first case and £1 for each subsequent case.
We can arrange delivery for a fee, which we calculate per transferred case based on the destination warehouse.
Alternatively, you can arrange to have your cases collected from our warehouse. To get an accurate quote, please email email@example.com.
