Husband-and-wife Patrice and Michèle Rion started this wonderful domaine in 1990. Their son Maxime joined them in 2005 and has been fully in charge since 2015. A cool and confident winemaker, Maxime has taken this estate to even greater heights, refining methods in the vineyard and winery.

He works with some of the finest real estate in the Côte de Nuits, crafting excellent examples of Nuits-St Georges and Chambolle-Musigny in particular, along with some sterling new additions from Vosne-Romanée. These wines, already highly sought after, will soon become almost impossible to obtain.

The 2023 vintage
