Virtual events

Bespoke virtual events

Let us help you arrange a bespoke tasting for clients, family or friends to be enjoyed in the comfort of your own homes.

If you’re planning a lockdown-friendly group event, then why not try one of our virtual wine tastings? Available for five or more individuals or households, these virtual events – run via Zoom – are an entertaining way to bring a little bit of St James’s (and our cellars) to you.

We’ll deliver wines, glassware and a corkscrew to all of your guests; on the evening, one of our expert hosts will guide you through the wines.

How it works

We’ll plan the event with you

We’ll plan the event with you: either choosing a theme or creating a bespoke tasting for you.

We deliver six full bottles

We deliver six full bottles, glassware and a corkscrew to every guest (or household) ahead of the event – and cheese too, if you like.

At the appointed hour

At the appointed hour, you’ll all log on from your respective homes, and one of our team will guide you through the wines in a relaxed tasting.

Example events

France’s Finest

Explore three of France’s most famous regions – Burgundy, Bordeaux and the Rhône – via three very serious wines. You’ll start with a Meursault Les Chevalières, move onto Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and finish with a mature Claret from Château Haut-Bailly.

New World Gems

Discover six iconic wines from the New World. We'll start with a Moutere Albariño from New Zealand, then it's onto California for a taste of Riesling and Chardonnay. We'll then move north to Oregon for a Pinot Noir, head down to Argentina for a taste of Malbec, before ending with a Penfolds Shiraz from South Australia.

What our customers think

“The wine tasting was brilliant; very informative and I think pitched perfectly to the audience. I am really pleased you could also talk about the cheese too! We have had some great feedback… saying how wonderful it was to go on video, put a human touch to their conversations and engage in something not work-related.”

“A very interesting collection of wines, such that a number of serial wine collectors amongst your audience were surprised by something new… Everyone learnt something and, importantly, enjoyed the evening.”

“Thanks so much! This was really a great success. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.”

“Just wanted to say a big thank you for hosting our virtual wine tasting last night. I really enjoyed it and know everyone else did too.”
