Chateau des Gravieres is located in Portets, at the centre of the Graves wine appellation, 20 miles south-east of Bordeaux city.

The vineyards and the winery has seen some significant investment within the last 10 years mixing both tradition and modern techniques. The estate is perched at the top of one of the best gravelly plateaus of the appellation, with plantings of mainly old vines, with Merlot reaching 80% and the remaining 20% planted with Cabernet Sauvignon.
