Domaine Philippe & Vincent Lécheneaut, formerly Domaine Fernand Lécheneaut, was taken over by brothers Philippe and Vincent from their father Fernand in 1985. The estate was formed in the early 1960s, and covers around 22 acres, across Nuits-St.-Georges, Morey-St.-Denis, Vosne-Romanée and Chambolle-Musigny, in addition to a small plot of Grand Cru Clos de la Roche.
Once the grapes on the estate are harvested, they spend approximately 18 months in barrel without any kind of filtration or fining, resulting in a wine that is elegant and yet concentrated, and a strong sense of oak imparted from the barrique.
