Rebello Valente

Robertson Bros were the shippers behind this brand, which was once one of the most reputable, though, since a fine 1970, very little Vintage Port bears the name. Rebello Valente is part of the Sandeman/ Seagram group, which in turn is (for the present) part of media giant Vivendi.

It is the older vintages that are worth looking out for, though an agreeable 1985 will make attractive drinking over the next five years.
