Château Charmail is a 22 ha property located in the Haut Medoc next to Ch. Sociando-Mallet.

Oliver Seze purchased the property in 1982 and uses cold pre-fermentation maceration to give deep, tasty wines. They are matured for a year in oak barrels and neither fined nor filtered prior to bottling.

The wines are best with four to five years of bottle age.
