Kathy Lynskey Wines is a privately owned boutique Marlborough wine company producing only 4500 cases of limited release, hand-crafted wines annually. Founder and Managing Director Kathy Lynskey is one of the few Marlborough wine producers to have actually grown up in the province. Brought up on a local sheep farm, she later spent seven years in Australia before returning to Marlborough in the late 1980's. She purchased the company's present vineyard in 1997. This vineyard site comprises only 23 acres and lies on old riverbed soils adjoining the Omaka River in the heart of Marlborough.

The vineyard is planted with Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Merlot and Gewürztraminer grapes. The wines are made under contract at a local winery and, in consultation with the winemaker, Kathy takes an active role in determining the wine styles produced.
