Hortevie produces a stylish, elegant and refined St-Julien that has a subtle cedarwood-scented nose and is ripe, harmonious and balanced on the palate. Ideally, the wines should not be broached before their 5th birthday and will continue improving for up to 10 years following the vintage.

Hortevie is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, and is matured in oak barriques (20% new) for 12 months.
