Domaine St. Marc des Omedes is situated five minutes drive from Lorgues in Provence, in a restored 18th century bastide, surrounded by its vineyards producing Côtes de Provence and Vin de Pays de L'Argens.
It is a boutique-size winery, just 3ha of vines (7.5 acres) and a miniscule annual production of 13,000 litres. This little vineyard is immaculately looked after by the owners, a charming Anglo-Belgian couple, Lindsay and Anne-Marguerite Phillips, using traditional, hands-on methods of cultivation and grape picking. The consultant oenologue is Philippe Croce-Spinelli.
The the roses are a typical Provencial blend of Mouvedre, Grenache, Cinsault, fruity, spicy, layered with sweet herbs.
