Due to limited stocks, this whisky is limited to one bottle per customer.
Bright and lively on the nose with sweet barley and some stone fruit, this moreish whisky makes for delicious drinking. It’s toothsome and savoury on the palate, yet with tiny, bursting bombs of honeyed spice. The finish is lengthy and rewarding, with more juicy malt and even some treacle touches. I deeply admire the experimental meanderings of the Nc’Nean distilling team – here using three different yeasts to create new complexities – which, combined with their unparalleled commitment to sustainability, makes them one of the most important distilleries in Scotland.
