Pol Roger, Bollinger, Billecart- Salmon Rosé & Canapés, 31 May 2013

Celebration time again. We have chosen our favourite Champagne trio: Pol Roger, Bollinger and Billecart Rosé, and hope they are your favourites too. Stewart Turner, our Head Chef, will design spectacular summer canapés to indulge you (and to encourage the weather!) whlist we top up your glass of each Champagne in the delightful ambience of our 17th century shop and in the company of other Champagne-lovers, including Rebecca Lamont, Head of Berrys’ Wine School. We will start by pouring the Pol Roger, beloved of Sir Winston Churchill and much lauded as the quintessentially elegant Champagne; this will make a fascinating comparison with what follows, Bollinger’s famously full and rich style. The final pour of the evening will belong to the delicate and fragrant Billecart-Salmon Rosé. We do hope you will join us for this delectable evening.
