Description

Plump and luscious on the nose. An abundance of candied fruit, stewed berries and a whiff of toast. The palate presents a huge burst of fruit, here there's more damson, bramble and date. Supple and broad in the mouth, this hot vintage is finessed, classic and measured. The tannins are velvet-like, and acidity is impressive. Drinking impressively now, I suspect that this will be delightful in its youth but most certainly has a very long life ahead of it.
