A lively blend of Garnatxa Blanc ( 80%), Sauvignon Blanc, Macabeo and Viognier, the 2014 impresses with its herbal yet honied aromas, let’s say sour honey to be on the safe side, then its generous texture, warm and softly plump yet with a beguiling citric acidity cutting through the indulgence with great confidence. This reminds me of some of the grander altitude wines from not-actually-that-far-away Roussillon, yet without the extravagant price tag.
