Description

If you've ever wondered what the difference is between Crémant and Cava or want to see what all the fuss is about English Sparkling Wine, this event is for you. Barbara will guide you through the world of sparkling wine, looking at why different countries and regions produce such different styles, tasting the best of what each has to offer. We’ll be tasting the wines blind to ensure we focus on what’s in the glass rather than on the label and putting your tasting skills to the test to see whether you can distinguish Champagne from a New World imitator. The evening will be ideal for WSET and MW students, or those wanting to understand more about the world of sparkling wine. Hosted by Barbara Drew, Wine and Spirit Education Specialist
