Description

This evening is a chance to get to grips with one of the most inspiring and innovative of wine-producing countries. South Africa has experienced something of a winemaking renaissance in recent years; over the course of the evening Richard Veal will take you on a whistle-stop tour of the Cape. You will explore classic regions such as Stellenbosch, venturing to the modish Swartland and on to the cooler climes of Elgin or Constantia, via a range of well-known grape varieties and a few more unusual blends. The wines will be accompanied by our Head Chef’s carefully paired snacks and a selection of cheese. Hosted by Richard Veal, Head of Events and Education

Wines to be tasted:
2010 Alexandra de la Marque Krone, Méthode Cap Classique
2015 Mullineux Kloof Street Chenin Blanc, Swartland
