Join Burgundy fan Barbara as she explores one of her greatest vinous passions this evening. Before attending this tasting, you may be forgiven for being part of the “ABC” (anything but Chardonnay) club, but certainly not afterwards. It is without a doubt in this part of the world that Chardonnay achieves its most sublime expression. Tonight’s pursuit will take you from steely-backboned Chablis in the north right through to the softer, fleshier wine of the Mâconnais. On the way you will also discover the inimitable treasures of Burgundy’s most famous region: the Côte d’Or. Barbara has chosen a dazzling line-up and will finish the evening on a high with a stunning Grand Cru, followed by an exquisitely mature Meursault.
