Description

That the First Growths occupy an exclusive position at the very top of the Bordeaux wine pyramid is not in doubt; what is less well known is that their second labels are often of senior Classed-Growth quality in their own right. Over the course of the evening your Claret-loving tutor, Demetri Walters MW, will recount the history of the region, how the Classification was established, the varying fortunes of each château represented, as well as how and why the second wines came into being. Compare and contrast these wonderful wines and see how they work with a selection of delicious canapés. Hosted by Demetri Walters MW, Wine Educator and Presenter
