Description
Few would dispute Bordeaux’s position in the pantheon of great wine regions, yet its name is so familiar, and its wine styles so emulated around the globe, that it is easy to forget the complexity that exists in the world’s largest fine wine region. From its Roman settlements and drained marshlands we find superlative examples of the infinitely compatible Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, while the fortuitous meeting of Garonne and Dordogne rivers offers up the sublime nectars of Sauternes and Barsac. Join us this evening to taste the depth and breadth of the region. Hosted by Felipe Carvallo, Fine Wine Specialist
