Description

Wine and art have long had an intertwined history, and no more so than in Italy – a country whose cultural soul is driven by its artistic masters and a great respect for winemaking as one of its oldest practiced arts. Artists throughout the centuries have sought to explore mankind’s relationship with wine; wine has in turn fuelled great (and oftentimes passionate) dialogue. Through the sacred and the profane, Wine Education Specialist George Lacey will take you through some of the masterpieces of Italian winemaking, exploring the links between Italy’s greatest art-forms and its vinous history and geography. Hosted by George Lacey, Fine Wine Specialist
