Join your hosts, wine writer Will Lyons and special guest Lori Westmoreland from Ch. Léoville Poyferré, for an evening devoted to the vinous delights of Ch. Léoville Poyferré. This Second Growth was one part of the large Léoville estate that was eventually divided, being classified as three separate properties in 1855 (the other two are Léoville Barton and Léoville-Las Cases). Léoville Poyferré’s current owners, the Cuvelier family (who also own Chx le Crock and Moulin Riche), purchased the estate in 1920, with Didier Cuvelier at the helm today. During this four-course dinner in our atmospheric Napoleon Cellar, Will and Lori will guide you through eight vintages from the St Julien estate, exploring the estate’s history and the differences between the wines.
