Description

Mercedes and Miguel de Gregorio, the brother-and-sister duo who created Finca Allende, will host this dinner along with our Buyer Catriona Felstead MW, offering a unique opportunity to taste through the estate’s range. Finca Allende is located in the Rioja Alta and was founded on the philosophy of seeking the perfect Rioja, indeed the estate’s name is literally translated as “further”, reflecting the ambitions behind the project. The estate marries the old with the new, embracing traditional grape varieties but using new French oak to enhance their flavours. While Rioja is traditionally blended from across the region, Allende produces a range of top-end vineyard-specific wines, focusing on Rioja’s varied terroir. Over the course of the dinner you will taste through Finca Allende’s range and find out more about this unique estate, accompanied by our Head Chef’s exquisite cooking.
