This six-bottle selection includes just a few of the wines that make Spain so exciting today. The sparkling from Penedès offers a wonderful alternative to Champagne at an exceptional price – fine, fresh and utterly invigorating. This is joined by two Galician whites: a benchmark Albariño and the Extramundi white blend, both destined to accompany a platter of mariscos. Reds are represented by a classic Rioja – our own-label bottling made by the historic Bodega Amézola de la Mora; a rich Bobal from Valencia; and a ripe black-fruited Priorat from Sangenís i Vaqué. These wines represent a mere snapshot of the energy and determination that is driving the Spanish wine scene forward today.
