The symbiosis between food and wine is well known and the right pairing can elevate both components to heavenly heights. Join Fine Wine Specialist Isobel Watson Smith in the splendid surrounds of our Sussex Cellar as she takes you through a few of our favourite matches. Blanc de blancs Champagne and oysters; Verdicchio with truffle pasta; Meursault with lobster, chips and mayonnaise; Côte-Rôtie with seared steak; Moscato d’Asti with Eton mess – these are a few of our favourite combinations that we will be sharing with you during dinner.
