Description
The heat is on as we put the spotlight on Southern Italy, Il Mezzogiorno. You will taste delicious wines from Campania, Puglia, Calabria and Sicily, including a Taurasi and an Etna Rosso. Though it possesses an ancient viticulture, Southern Italy’s vinous treasures are often overlooked in favour of the north’s better known names. This tasting will aim to make you more aware of the south’s wonderful, and often more keenly-priced, wines. You will try some fragrant whites and big, powerful reds, as well as being treated to a spot of Marsala before home time.
Dress code: smart casual
