Description
Join us on a vinous tour of the Rhône Valley, a region which, in our opinion, is one of France's most interesting and diverse winemaking areas. From the steep hills of Hermitage in the north, to the rolling vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the south, you will learn about the grapes and terroirs that make up this fascinating region. The idea of this event is to come away with an understanding of the key wine-producing villages in the north and the south, as well as how and why the styles of wines produced throughout the valley vary and taste the way they do. Working our way through 11 wines, we will begin with the whites of the north and south, pausing for a rosé before working our way down geographically through some of the region's most iconic and show stopping reds. Hosted by Catherine Owen, Fine Wine Specialist
Dress code: smart casual
NB Wines for this event will be chosen from Berry Bros. & Rudd’s stock at the time of the event, so most will be available to order afterwards.
