Description

Join our Rhône Buyer Simon Field MW, an authority on the region and, in particular, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, in our cellars for an evening tasting some delicious wines. Simon has picked a selection of wines from the famous commune that he believes get to the essence of its character and illustrate how its varied terroir effects the final style. The tasting will comprise two whites and six reds, and will feature a beautifully mature example from Château de Beaucastel, as well as an extremely rare wine from the much-lauded Château Rayas. Hosted by Simon Field MW, Rhône Buyer

Wines to be tasted:
2008 Berry Bros. & Rudd Champagne by Mailly, Grand Cru
2012 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc, Clos des Beauvenir, Château La Nerthe, Rhône
