Enjoy a sparkling wine reception in the Pickering Cellar before a two-hour session designed to build your confidence in wine tasting. No matter your level of expertise, you will have numerous thoughts and impressions the moment a wine hits your palate. At this event, your host will teach you to trust these instincts, helping you grow in confidence. Tasting through 8 wines from around the world, including wonderful examples from Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Barolo, you will learn to identify acidity, tannin, alcohol level and the age of a wine. You will leave a more self-assured taster, equipped to discover which wines you do and don’t like, and – even more importantly – why.
