As we reflect upon the end of First World War 100 years ago, we commemorate the Armistice – the moment when a ceasefire negotiated between the Allies and the Germans brought peace at 11 o'clock on 11th November 1918. We welcome back guest speaker and military historian Hugh Macdonald-Buchanan who will talk about the Armistice and its history and significance before each course. The luncheon will be hosted by our very own Demetri Walters MW who is also passionate about military history. A four-course luncheon will be served alongside five classic wines, including Champagne.
