Description
Although the smallest of the four main Médoc communes, St Julien is recognised as being the most consistent, with many châteaux producing impressive wines, regardless of vintage. This evening is a chance to explore the commune in depth, tasting a range of vintages and wines from different producers. We will cover the different styles found within the commune, and discuss whether there is a unifying character to the wines. Along the way we’ll compare second wines and Super Seconds, and end the evening in style with a magnificent 1986 Ducru-Beaucaillou.
