Description

Join us for an evening exploring three of Bordeaux’s most famous communes. Through a fascinating line-up of examples from top châteaux, you will have the chance to compare and contrast the different styles (white, red and sweet), looking at vintage variation and the wines’ ability to age. You will also get a feel for the context in which they are made as your host explores how these wines relate to the rest of Bordeaux and how they represent the region in today’s international wine market. The final wine, a delicious Sauternes, will ensure that the evening ends on a sweet note. Hosted by Barbara Drew MW, Wine & Spirit Education Specialist.
