Description

Producers often spend large amounts of time talking about their soil. During this tasting, we will be putting the concept of terroir to the test, and considering what impact, if any, soil has on a wine. Is it true that vineyards close to rivers produce the best quality grapes, and does it follow that the bigger the river, the bolder the wine? Come and taste a selection of great wines from around the world, learn about their alluvial associations, and decide for yourself. Hosted by Barbara Drew MW, Wine & Spirits Education Specialist.
