Spot the Grand Cru Burgundies, Thursday 13th June 2019

We will begin this wonderful evening of Burgundy by first blind-tasting the line-up: four Grand Crus and wines from adjacent plots. We will also taste a very well-known Premier Cru next to a plot in the neighbouring village. By sampling wines from adjacent plots in Burgundy, we will be able to notice and discuss the differences. It is difficult not to be fascinated by the concept of boundaries within the villages, especially when the division is between a well-known cru and a lesser known one.
