Description

This evening is a chance to immerse yourself in all things Puilgny-Montrachet. We will taste the range of quality from Bourgogne Blanc, Village wine and Premiers Crus before finishing with three Grands Crus. Our tasting will concentrate on the voluptuous 2015 and rather more classic 2016 and our final wine, the Grand Cru Montrachet from Roche de Bellene will hail from the 2012 vintage. Most of the wines will come the Olivier Leflaive Stable but we will also taste from Domaine Jacques Carillon, Domaine Martelet de Cherisey and Domaine Jean-Louis Chavy. Hosted by Rebecca Lamont, Head of Wine School.

Tutored Tastings

Tutored Tastings

Unfortunately, we have postponed all events at our St James’s premises until the start of July. We are constantly reassessing the situation and considering the feasibility of events after this date. In the meantime, we are offering virtual tastings online. We’ll arrange delivery of wines, glasses and a corkscrew to your guests ahead of a guided tasting with one of our expert hosts. For more information, please contact us.

Treat yourself, your family or a client to one of our exclusive tutored or walkaround wine tastings. One of our experts will guide you through a range of wines while educating you on the evening’s topic. From blind tastings to producer focusses, these are unmissable chances to broaden your wine knowledge.

At our walkaround tastings, a selection of fascinating wines will be set out for you to explore, with an expert on hand to elucidate on the evening’s theme.

The Napoleon Cellar and the Pickering Cellar provide the perfect venues for your tutored wine tastings.

Sussex cellar is our newest event space with terracotta archways and intimate yet contemporary feel. Design influences hail from Spanish wine cellars or Bodegas, and use handmade London tiles to create archways and columns that extend through both the mezzanine and the sub-basement level of the cellars.
