Description
The two ends of the Rhône Valley are, in vinous terms, dissimilar siblings: one lyrical, generally focused on the single varietal and seemingly taking a stylistic lead from the neighbouring Burgundian vineyards; the other broad, expansive and generous, glorying in a varied palette of grape varieties and a distinctly Mediterranean warmth. Over the course of this evening, you’ll taste 10 wines from across the region – giving you a flavour and understanding of how wine production differs across the Rhône. Your host Rebecca Lamont will guide you through some of the most respected and renowned producers alongside a four-course Rhône-themed menu prepared by our Head Chef Stewart Turner. Hosted by Rebecca Lamont, Head of Wine School
