Indulge in a spectacular, Italian-themed Christmas feast in our Long Room. Over the course of the evening you’ll explore an envy-inducing vinous line-up. From a Prosecco aperitivo through to top-tier Grappa, sampling some of the most desirable wines from Barolo and Tuscany (including 1993 Ornellaia, 2015 Tignanello and a 1983 Brunello from Cerbaiona), this promises to be a memorable evening. The menu, designed by our Head Chef Stewart Turner, has been created to pair with the Italian wines on show and create the perfect early Christmas celebration. Unfortunately, we have postponed all events at our St James’s premises until the start of July. We are constantly reassessing the situation and considering the feasibility of events after this date. Whether a lavish six-course banquet in our Sussex Cellar or a more intimate affair in the Long Room, we host a range of dinners focusing on wine regions, styles or producers. After a drinks reception and introduction from your host, you will sit down to enjoy a selection of remarkable wines matched with equally impressive food.

Our Head Chef Stewart Turner will design a menu to complement the wines you taste, while between each delicious course your expert host will guide you through the wines in front of you, giving you the opportunity to discuss their styles and ask questions.
