Description

Want to know your Moët from your Bolly? This is the event for you. Learn about Champagne and how its made as your host guides you through 13 wines. You’ll taste a variety of styles such as blanc de blancs, blanc de noirs, non-vintage, vintage and prestige cuvées.

You’ll build your knowledge of Champagne as you taste wines from the likes of Pol Roger, Krug and Dom Pérignon. After your morning’s tuition, you’ll settle down for a specially prepared lunch with a further four vintage and “pudding” Champagnes to see just how versatile this wine is with food. You’ll come away able to express why you prefer zero dosage styles, or favour Bollinger over Pol Roger. Hosted by Edwin Dublin, Champagne Specialist

One Day Wine School

One Day Wine School

Our one-day wine schools are a great way to get a thorough overview of a region in a day.

Starting in the morning with tea and coffee on arrival, we spend around 2 hours exploring the region, with 8-12 wines showcasing all different styles. With the basics covered, we head to our vaulted Napoleon cellar for an aperitif and to put the morning’s education to the test with 5 more wines paired over a delicious lunch, crafted by Head Chef Stewart Turner.

The day finishes around 3.30pm.
