Description

Tonight, you will learn about the magnificent Brunello di Montalcino, with examples from different producers. Brunello di Montalcino is Tuscany’sboldest expression of Sangiovese; its vineyards are located 30 miles south of Siena, with the hilltop town of Montalcino at its epicentre. Brunello is the local name for the Sangiovese Grosso clone from which Brunello di Montalcino is made. You’ll learn about the subtleties and complexities of Brunello, tasting examples from a range of producers and vintages, learning about the region, the people and the vineyards behind the wines.
