2017 Own Selection Margaux in gift box

We’re excited to team up with Château Angludet for our new Margaux. Heavy frost meant that the entire 2017 harvest went into this, the estate’s second wine. With 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot and 8% Petit Verdot, there is wonderful intensity to the fruit – testament to the quality of the soils here. The wine’s silky tannins enrich the layers of ripe blackberry and blueberry fruit; a hint of gravel and raspberry leaf brings an aromatic lift to the finish. This is serious yet approachable, and undeniably charming.
