Sake is fast becoming the must-have food accompaniment. This delicate rice-based drink is made in a variety of styles, and our Discovery Case is the perfect way to learn a little more about its diversity. These three delicious examples of sake have been chosen to show the immense quality from three of our favourite breweries. The savoury richness of Tatenokawa’s Phoenix is delightfully toothsome and would pair beautifully with a classic roast chicken, whilst Kimura Brewery’s elegant Fukukomachi Daiginjo is a succulent accompaniment to a host of fish dishes, salads or even light desserts. IWA 5’s masterful Assemblage 3 is the foremost example of blending across sake styles to create harmony and complexity – serve it with anything or simply alongside good conversation.
