Description

The two ends of the Rhône Valley are, in vinous terms, dissimilar siblings: one lyrical, generally focused on the single varietal and seemingly taking a stylistic lead from the neighbouring Burgundian vineyards; the other broad, expansive and generous, glorying in a varied palette of grape varieties and a distinctly Mediterranean warmth. Over the course of this evening, you’ll taste 11 wines from some of the region’s most respected and renowned producers – giving you a flavour and understanding of how wine production differs across the Rhône. Hosted by Rebecca Lamont, Head of Wine School

Wines to be tasted:
2017 Viognier, Collines Rhodaniennes, Domaine Mouton
2018 St Joseph Blanc, Silice, Domaine Coursodon
