Wines of Piedmont, Wednesday 15th July 2020

One of Italy's most revered regions, this evening will be a deep dive into all things Piedmontese. From the creamy, and zesty white wines, to the rustic, everyday reds, we will build up to a focus on Piedmont's most noble of grapes – Nebbiolo. From exploring the soils of the Langhe, to discussing the merits of traditional versus modern winemaking techniques, this will be a fascinating evening exploring the region. Hosted by Barbara Drew MW, Wine and Spirit Education Specialist
Dress code: smart casual
NB Wines for this event have been chosen from Berry Bros. & Rudd’s historic stock and may not be available to order following the event.

Tutored Tastings

Tutored Tastings

Unfortunately, we have postponed all events at our St James’s premises until the start of July. We are constantly reassessing the situation and considering the feasibility of events after this date. In the meantime, we are offering virtual tastings online. We’ll arrange delivery of wines, glasses and a corkscrew to your guests ahead of a guided tasting with one of our expert hosts. For more information, please contact us.

Treat yourself, your family or a client to one of our exclusive tutored or walkaround wine tastings. One of our experts will guide you through a range of wines while educating you on the evening’s topic. From blind tastings to producer focusses, these are unmissable chances to broaden your wine knowledge.

At our walkaround tastings, a selection of fascinating wines will be set out for you to explore, with an expert on hand to elucidate on the evening’s theme.

The Napoleon Cellar and the Pickering Cellar provide the perfect venues for your tutored wine tastings.

Sussex cellar is our newest event space with terracotta archways and intimate yet contemporary feel. Design influences hail from Spanish wine cellars or Bodegas, and use handmade London tiles to create archways and columns that extend through both the mezzanine and the sub-basement level of the cellars.
