We’re now offering a range of ticketed virtual tastings. Led by our team of in-house experts, our tastings are available for you to join from the comfort of your own home.
Whether you’re looking to deepen your understanding of Bordeaux or gain insight into the innovative wines of Tuscany, you’re sure to find something to pique your interest in our curated virtual programme.
So how does it work? Simply book a place on one of our virtual courses, and we’ll arrange the delivery of everything you need – be it wines, spirits or cheeses – to be sent directly to your doorstep.
Whichever of our tastings you opt for, we think you’ll find it educational and fun – with just the right level of indulgence, too.

Tune in for our virtual Introduction to Wine Course. You will learn about wine over six Tuesday evenings, with the help of one of our talented Wine Educators and the support of our own introductory book Exploring and Tasting Wine.
We will arrange for 21 wines (75cl bottles) and our Exploring and Tasting Wine book to be delivered directly to your home. Each evening, you’ll log in via Zoom, where our expert host will guide you through the topic and you’ll taste up to four wines. The ticket price includes a set of glassware and a corkscrew, as well as full-sized bottles of the wines, so you can share the experience with family and friends.
The virtual tasting will start at 6.30pm and will last for approximately an hour and 15 minutes. Once a ticket has been booked, we’ll email you to confirm the details of your delivery.
The series begins by looking at the factors which influence the balance of wine, learning about alcohol, tannins, acidity, aroma and flavour. You’ll learn how to describe wine, exploring the influence of ageing. The following five sessions are dedicated to studying two or three different grape varieties and contrasting key examples from Europe and the New World.

Deliveries can take up to 14 days.The idea is to enjoy harnessing your natural tasting ability while applying your observations to facts about the provenance of the wines. During the course, we tackle all sorts of questions and aim to challenge common myths about wine – and most importantly, increase your confidence in tasting. The course will follow the below outline, with the emphasis firmly on learning through taste:
