Introduction to Gin, Thursday 10th December 2020

The price above is per household and includes everything you'll need for this tasting, which we'll deliver to your doorstep ahead of this event.

The gin revival shows no signs of slowing down, so join us to learn more about this fascinating spirit. You will learn about the history of gin, from its origins as Genever and Old Tom to its (re)incarnation as anything from a light, delicately flavoured and floral spirit to a robust and spicy drink. We’ll end by looking at gin cocktails and we’ve included our Vesper Martini for you to enjoy.

We will arrange delivery of four different spirits (70cl bottles) direct to your home. On the evening of the event, you’ll log in via Zoom where our expert host will take you through each.

The virtual tasting will start at 6.30pm and last for approximately one hour. Once a ticket has been booked, we’ll email you to confirm the details of your delivery.

Gins to be tasted:

Ableforth's Bathtub Old Tom Gin, Ableforth, (42.4%)
No.3 London Dry Gin, (46%)
London to Lima, (42.8%)

Virtual Tastings

We’re thrilled to be re-opening our events spaces at No.3 St James’s Street. Adhering to government guidelines and social distancing, we’re offering a range of courses, tastings and experiences in our historic cellars. We’re also offering virtual events which will be available for you to join from home.

We’re now offering a range of ticketed virtual tastings. Led by our team of in-house experts, our tastings are available for you to join from the comfort of your own home.

Whether you’re looking to deepen your understanding of Bordeaux or gain insight into the innovative wines of Tuscany, you’re sure to find something to pique your interest in our curated virtual programme.

So how does it work? Simply book a place on one of our virtual courses, and we’ll arrange the delivery of everything you need – be it wines, spirits or cheeses – to be sent directly to your doorstep.

Whichever of our tastings you opt for, we think you’ll find it educational and fun – with just the right level of indulgence, too.
