Description
This evening, whisky aficionado Joe Whittaker and Max Melvin, Senior Cheesemonger from La Fromagerie, will be pairing their favourite whiskies and cheeses. We’ll start by looking at how this timeless drink is made, and over the course of the evening we’ll taste a range of whiskies, spanning the Scottish Highlands, Ireland and North America.
Alongside each dram, we’ll showcase a range of different cheeses from the British Isles and beyond. During the evening we will explore classic matches – such as Highland malts with mature Scottish cheddar – to more unusual pairings, such as Bourbon and blue cheese. It promises to be an insightful and educational evening for spirits and cheese-lovers alike.
