Description

Join us for this virtual tasting, as we take a closer look at the wines of Burgundy. We’ll examine four renowned sub-regions in detail, discussing the key characteristics to look out for in each wine. We will compare two Chardonnays from Chablis and Meursault, before looking at two examples of Pinot Noir from the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune.

Wines to be tasted on the evening:

2019 Chablis, Dessus La Carrière, Didier & Pascal Picq, Burgundy
2017 Meursault, Benjamin Leroux, Burgundy
2017 Beaune, Les Bons Feuvres, Domaine Sébastien Magnien, Burgundy
2018 Nuits-St Georges, Vieilles Vignes, Patrice & Maxime Rion

We will arrange a delivery of a selection of wines from Burgundy, a set of glassware and a corkscrew directly to your home. In addition, we have partnered with Paxton & Whitfield, who will deliver three artisan cheeses to accompany the wines in the tasting. On the evening of the event, you’ll log in via Zoom where our expert host will take you through the four wines. The ticket price includes full-sized bottles (75cl) of all the wines, so you can share the experience with family and friends.

The virtual tasting will start at 6.30pm and last for one hour and 15 minutes. Once a ticket has been booked, we’ll email you to confirm the details of your delivery.

NB. If you would like to enquire about non-UK mainland deliveries, please contact us at ticketedevents@bbr.com.
